Frank Ponsaert is Health entrepreneur focusing on digital health and owner of the start-up ivis4health bvba (ivis4health.com @ivis4health). With ivis4health his core business is strategic advice on digital health and strategic workshops.
He is board member at the „Flemish agency for data sharing between health professionals“ (Vasgaz).
Till May 2017, he was advisor on e-Health, m-Health and Big Data to the Belgian Minister of Social Affairs and Public Health. He was chairman of the inter-federal steering committee on e-Health, chairman of the federal steering committee on e-Health and member of the Board of Directors of the e-Health platform.
Frank has a Master’s Degree in mathematical sciences and started his career at Control Data and Philips. He held different management positions at Origin (now Atos), DMR, Fujitsu Consulting Holland, and Ardatis (now Cegeka). In 2007, he joined the health sector, first as interim manager at LCM, then as manager of the National Intermut College (NIC) to then becoming advisor to Minister De Block in 2014.
Since 2015 Frank is member of the jury deciding on the Agoria eHealth awards and in 2016 he was member of the jury of the 1st mHealth Hackathon in Belgium.
